EGUAVOEN MAY BE ON THE WAY OUT

Indication has emerged that interim Super Eagles’ head coach, Austin Eguavoen, could be heading for the exit door following the dismal outing in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations against Guinea in Conakry last Sunday.

ThE top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have expressed displeasure with the technical input of Eguavoen in last Sunday’s game against Guinea, which the Super Eagles lost by a lone goal.

The NFF officials are also scheduled to hold a meeting to review the performance of the team against Guinea based on the technical report of assistant secretary general (technical) James Peters.

Peters was part of the travelling contingent to Conakry and he has expressed displeasure with the attitude of the side, as he feels that Eguavoen has not been on top of things in the Eagles’ camp.

There are indications that Eguavoen would certainly not be in position to handle the Super Eagles for the country’s next Nations Cup qualifier, in March 2011 against Ethiopia.

Also, the coach could be placed under supervision for next month’s international friendly against Iran.

However, the NFF cannot appoint a substantive coach at the moment since there is no board in place due to the court case that annulled the August 26 poll that elected Aminu Maigari as president of the football federation.

The court suit was instituted by a faction of the country’s football union known as the National Association of Nigerian Footballers (Nanf).

As at the present time, Nigerian sport lovers are at the mercy of FIFA, Nigerian Courth and N.F.A.Board Members.

HONESTLY, JUST ONE MORE STEP CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE

…and you can live the kind of life you had so desired ever after, turning back with only a smile and gratitude to your creator.

HMMM! Here I am again. I decided to write on this because of my beloved people, most of who are in great danger nationally and internationally. Why do I say that? Simple, most people are in the state they are today simply because they refuse to appreciate what they have so much gathered over time. They have gathered so much knowledge than they can implement. Come to think of our education system, when we were born, we went through KG, NURSERY, PRIMARY, SECONDARY/HIGH SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE, GRADUATE SCHOOL AND SO ON… gathering so much knowledge and experience that was meant to better our life, yet we abandoned all these knowledge that we have suffered so much pain and money to acquire at the point of need.
Last time I was on my usual temporary transfer and I was moving from Warri, South-Southern Nigeria to Lagos, western Nigeria. When I was packing my items from the guest house, the back of my car was so littered with so much books that I have bought over time yet have either not have the time to read or have never even attempted opening at all.

Before I left my house in Benin, I was looking at my personal mini-library; I was taking the stock count of books, magazines, journals, information newspapers, manuals, CDs and so on. I discovered that I have close to 100 pieces of motivational books by different authors’ such as Brian Tracy, John C. Maxwell, Anthony Robins, John Manson, Robert Schooler, Sunny- Obazu Ogeagbese and the list goes on. I also discovered that I had success digest newspaper dating back to 3 year in series; I had CD that contains e-Books that I have bought from different info-marketers, both internationally and nationally about half size of Ghana-Most-Go bag. And do you know what, I have not read even a quarter of all those info-products.

While I was in Lagos, I bought some other books and went round to buy more information products costing me so much thousands of my hard earned money. One day, I went to one information product entrepreneur to discourse on how I will attend his one-on-one training or buying his information product. Lo and behold, the Man kept me waiting from 3pm to 7:30pm.

Even when he came out later, he said why have I being waiting for him, that I am blaming him for my failures in life. I was so shocked but appreciative at the same time. Why, because I told my self that in two months time, the guy will hear the news of my success.

I said I will do my own research online and offline and come up with a solution to my problem. And what was my problem? I needed to setup a blog and drive traffic to the blog so that I can earn some money from GoogleAdsense and affiliate income.
I later went through my computer files, documents, drive C, external hard drive, and flash and so on. Behold, I discovered that I had more than enough to have guided me. I have much more information that I have bought over time lying and wasting idly in my system yet I go around buying more and more. What an economic waist. The only problem I had was that while I was busy buying and acquiring new books, e-books, magazines and co, my so called would-have- been-Mentor was implementing every book he reads. Part of what I discovered is what guided me in building the following money-making blog sites:

http://www.plentydollarsnow.blogspot.com ,
http://www.thetipscenter.blogspot.com,
http://www.onlineandofflineshoppingguide.blogspot.com,
http://www.autoinsurancematters.blogspot.com ,
http://www.carinsurancequotesnyk.co.cc
and the following sites are under construction,
http://www.limsnetonline.com
And http://www.marketingplaceonline.com.

If I had been reading as I am buying, I wouldn’t have been buying all those materials that I don’t need. PLEASE STOP STOCKPILING BOOKS THAT YOU WON’T READ at the end of the day.

Go through the books you already have, read them thoroughly and implement the survival strategies contained in each book to the end before buying one more book. Stockpiling books you don’t need is not only an economic waist, but making one look like a Donkey carrying loads of books which she can never know the value of.
Starting from you who is reading this article write now, when was the last time you did a stock count of your books in your large or mini-library? Your e-books, magazines and journals of some of the best brain in the world all lying in your library. Have you ever read one of the books cover to cover, even if you tried to read half, did you try to implement half of the lessons you learnt?
Just taking one more step can change your life for ever and at the end, you will have the course to celebrate with gratitude to your creator. Go ahead, pick a Book, read and implement the content.
Please take a step today.

FINANCIAL INTELIGENCE: KEY TO GETTING THE BEST OUT OF YOUR EARNING.

HMMM!!! WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS TOPIC?
Last night, one of my Kid-Sister who is a student in one of the Nation’s secondary school sent me this text message.”LIFE IS A RACE. YOUR DESIRE TO SUCCEED BEGINS WITH IDENTIFYING THE RACE SET BEFORE YOU”.
I begin to wonder what a life we are living. Most us had missed the journey from the very beginning. While many are struggling to find even what to eat for that day, with no hope in sight, many are so busy wasting their hard earned income. Spending so much on frivolities that even at the 5th day of the month, they are back to where they started from.
I agree that quite a few people are still jobless and trying to find their means of sustenance. They are jobless so to say because they are blind to the countless opportunity abound in this country today. On the other hand, a large number of people fall into these broad categories: Under paid and can not save; Wellpaid but can not manage the money;
Earning good salary to a lot of people means buying big cars, big houses, expensive dresses which are largely bought on credit, big electronics and fabulous lifestyle, many wives, concubines and girl friends. And so on. To these group of people, how to manage the money and get the best out of it is their major problem.
To illustrate this further, I want to use three of my friends.
(1) Chiedu (not his real name) works and lives in Asaba, Delta State as a driver to a fast growing company in the Niger delta region. He earns an average of N20, 000 a month.
(2) Audu (not his real name) lives and works in Akure, Ondo State with a private company. He earns average of N70, 000 monthly.
(3) SEUN (not his real) is well paid and a serious devoted and ever busy workaholic.
Chiedu has couple of bobbling friends and one girl friend. At the end of each month, after collecting his salary, himself, his girl friend and few of his friends will go to a weekend party at Grand Hotels, Asaba. By the time they come back the next day morning, 90% of his entire earnings for that month are gone. And that is how he lives his life and complains of not being paid enough as compared to his friends driving in other companies’ month after months and years after years.
Audu on the other hand is not engaged in partying. However, as soon as he receives his monthly income, he breaks it down immediately into expenses. Large portion of the salary goes into solving his family problems. He starts from his brothers, sisters, uncles, and friends. He also stretch into part payment for clothing’s he couldn’t complete the payment the previous month, not forgetting the fact that he has to budget for his girl friend that comes every month end to visit him all the way from Warri. He will usually lodge her in a hotel for two days, spend a lot to take care of her as well as give her enough to go back.
And the circle continues. Both Chiedu and Audu can work for years without a tiny thing to show for it.
On the other hand, Seun is some one is well paid and ever busy. He wakes up 4:30am every morning to work and returns 10:30am every night. He sometimes sleeps in the office to meet up with deadlines. For him, he makes the money as well as saves but no time to enjoy it.
COMMON WAKE UP EVERYBODY. We needn’t to surfer that much all our life. All we need is financial intelligence in other to get the best out of our earnings and secure a good tomorrow for ourselves and our children.
WHAT IS THE WAY OUT?
The following, when practiced sequentially could guarantee a better tomorrow for us and our families.
SAVINGS: The need to save for tomorrow can not be over enfersized. Even though we all want to go for greener pastures, we need to maintain the present job and take a full advantage of it before moving a head.
(1) SAVINGS ACCOUNT: We can start with opening a savings account outside our salary account, religiously save a regular amount. Some banks charges zero-COT on savings while some do charge a little on the transactions.
(2) FIXED-DEPOSIT ACCOUNT: Here, we save a specified amount of money over an agreed period ranging from six months to one year and above, depending on the bank. During the period, we can not have access to this money what so ever. At the end of the period, a certain percentage of the money is added as interest and this also depends on the bank.
(3) LIFE ANSURANCE SAVINGS SCHEME: This allowed you to save on a regular basis, an agreed amount of money over a period. In most banks and insurance companies, the period is not less than 2 years. Some banks pay from 3% to 9% after 2 years and continually every month as long as the money is in their account. They also give you a life cover of up to N2.5million, depending on the bank incase of accidental death.
(4) You get more of these in my new free e-book…15 WAYS TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM. To get a copy of this, please send a text to 08160368729 or send email to any of the following: liman@limsnetonline.com, or lim_su2006@yahoo.com .
INVESTMENT. After savings, the next thing to do is investment. If you save money, the ability for the money to multiply is difficult. Why, because we can hardly wait to meet up with the banks set down rules and regulations. In such case, investment becomes the next option.
(1) LIFE ASSURANCE INVESTMENT SCHEME: Here, this is just like the number 3 above, the only difference is that you can not access the money until the end of the agreed period (5 years in some banks). The interest is usually very high. You can also use the account as collateral to get a loan in the bank or the insurance company. If however you decides to cut the investment half way, you loose part of your money.
(2) STOCK OR CAPITAL MARKET: Here, investment is based on long or short term plans. It involves buying shares from companies through capital market at low and keeps or sells at high. It also involved doing the same in the commodity market which involves buying of agricultural commodities.
(3) SMALL BUSINESS SETUP: Here, you invest part of the money you have saved over time in different means into a small business of your choice. I know the next question will be…Which business do I invest in?... If you look seriously into our New Magazine, START YOUR OWN BUSINESS MAGAZINE, you will notice that it is filled up with different ideas. So look into it and pick the one that suites you.
(4) ONLINE BUSINESS SET UP: you can as well invest in an online business. There are some many businesses you can do online. They include affiliate marketing, blogging, website designing and so on.
